and Zoopla supports this trend with a reported price rise of around 1.75%

This is a very positive move for the area which will son see the army move out in 2015 and have an Eco Town development proposal put into action. Time will tell if this is just a bump or a rise in popularity of the area as a commuter town, with the Hindhead Tunnel putting Guildford within a 30 minute striking distance. One can’t help think that to truly cement this price rise and to support any future growth Bordon is going to have to have a train service to link it to London. Alton and Liphook are close but require a car drive to reach.

Time will tell but living in the area allows you to savour the delights of country living in an area where the coast is 35 minutes away and London can be reached in around an hour.

House prices are set to be volatile across the UK, especially in areas undergoing development but the positive rise after the opening of the A3 tunnel will signal a trend for house buyers to look at areas where they may have otherwise overlooked. 2012-2013 will be interesting to say the least!
