Despite Bordon being an area of growth with houses selling up year on year, Mann Countrywide have quit the town. Maybe this is a consolidation for the large Estate Agents or maybe competition from online sources and more specialised local Agents like Strudwicks and Kingswoods were just too much to compete with?

When looking for a house our experience of Mann Countrywide was less than impressive: poorly matched house requirements, inconsistant contacts and finally failure to see through a bid process which meant we bought another house, they seemed to lack passion.

A recent house sale was originally brokered through Mann Countrywide but they were unable to match a buyer to the beautiful new home for sale. It seemed they were not doing enough pre-sale checks to ensure buyer matched seller expectations. Surely a No. 1 priority?

Anyway the house is now sold through Bushnell Porter who only seemed to have it for around a month before finding the right buyer.

It would seem that local specialised knowledge is the key to success and we await the future of the town as the Eco Town development programme continues.
